El trabajo describe la geología de la zona y las características del acuífero libre del cono aluvial del río Amaicha. Se delimitan las áreas principales de recarga y descarga del mismo y la dirección general del movimiento del agua subterránea. Por último, se explican las causas del progresivo ascenso de la superficie piezométrica y se sugiere las obras a realizar para revertir el proceso.
The work describes the geológical zone and the characteristics of the free aquifer of the alluvial fan belonging to the Amaícha river. The main overcharge and discharge areas and the direction of the underground water movement are delimitated. The progressive promotion of the piezometric surface as well as the work to be carred out in order to revert the process are fully explained at the end of it.
