N2  - El área geotermal Las Cañas , se encuentra ubicada en el ámbito de las Sierras Subandinas  Centrales, delimitada por las coordenadas geográficas 64º 33'12''- 64º 48'41'' de longitud oeste y 25º 02'58'' - 25º 13'47'' de latitud sur. -Se describe el clima y la geología de detalle del área termal como asi tambien, las características físicas y químicas del agua termal surgente del Pozo Las Cañas 282-U-1 y sus múltiples aplicaciones. -Sobre la base de un modelo hidrogeológico y geotermómetro químico del Na-K-Ca, se estima la temperatura del reservorio. -Se concluye que el área termal Las Cañas corresponde a un sistema geotermal cíclico de agua templada en zona de flujo de calor casi normal; The Las Cañas geothermal area is located in the Central Subandean Ranges, delimited by the geographical coordinates 64º 33'12'' - 64º 48'41'' W and 25º 02'58'' - 25º 13'47'' S. -The climated and the detailed geology of ther thermal area are described together with the physical and chemical features of the thermal flowing water from the Las Cañas 282-U-1 well and its applications. -The temperature of the reservoir in depth is estimated on the basis of the hidrogeológical and Na-K-Ca geothermal chemical model. -It is concluded that the Las Cañas thermal area is a cyclic geothermal system of mild water in an almost normal flow zone
