Puna sud-oriental Argentino.  aRelevamiento: 1986.3 aNew cenozoic formations, outcroping the eastern border of the argentine Puna, are studied and described.-They are nominated Singuel Fomation and Catal Fomation.The first one outcrops in the Pastos Grandes basin, and the second one surrounding the Farallón Catal in the Hombre Muerto basin.-The fomations consists on conglomerates and tobaceous materials. They are assigned Upper Pliocen age.The correlations with other formations and its paleogeographic interpretation are realized.3 aSe estudian y describen dos nuevas unidades fomacionales senoziocas, aflorantes en el borde oriental de la Puna argentina.- Las mismas se designan como Formación singuel y Formación Catal.
