    <subfield code="a">Illite crystallinity is the criteria used to assess the degree of metamorphism of paleozoic pelitic rocks from Negro Peinado and Volc&#xE1;ncito  formations from the Famatina; Puncoviscana formation from Cordillera Oriental; Falda Cienega formation  from Puna and Suncho formation from Sierras Pampeanas. -The metamorphism correspond to the anchizone (anchimetamorphismor very low grade  metamorphism). -The  cristallinity of illite has been determined in sedimentation samples of different grain size (2u; 2-6, 3u and 6,3u).-The peak with at halt heght (Hb) of the (001) reflection serves as a measure of cristallinity and the value of relative Halbwertsbreite (Hbrel) by the fraction 2u defined the level for the metamorphism. An external quartz standard has been used.</subfield>
