N2  - The present work is the result of a long field surveying, which has been completed by a microscopie and microchemical study on more thet hundred polished sections coming from "Mina Chorrillos"; this investigation is one more contrubution of the Instituto de GeologÃ­a y MinerÃ­as of the Universidad  Nacional de TucumÃ¡n, to the knowledge of mineral deposits and mining possibilities in the northern of the country.
