In this paper the objective is to show the principal characteristics of the geomorphical features of the sierra Hualfín/ Las Cuevas piedmont as a contribution to the knowledge of the Cuaternary Era in the province of Catamarca, Argentine. Also, neotectoni phenomena is specially considered as and important factor to build up the regional landscape.
