The present work is the result of a long field surveying, which has been completed by a microscopie and microchemical study on more thet hundred polished sections coming from "Mina Chorrillos"; this investigation is one more contrubution of the Instituto de Geología y Minerías of the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, to the knowledge of mineral deposits and mining possibilities in the northern of the country. It is to bring out, that for the fulfilment of this work, it has been count with de full support of the Secretaría de Ciencia y Técnica de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán and the CONICET.
